The highlight of the night was undoubtedly when IU performed her unreleased song, "Bye, Summer." Originally teased during her World Tour encore, hearing it in the intimate setting of a fan meet-up made many of us tear up. The lyrics about letting go of the heat and welcoming a new season felt like a warm hug for every fan in the room.
2. A Queen of Kindness (The Wheelchair Section Story)
If there’s one thing that went viral from this meet-up, it was IU’s pure heart. During the encore of "I'll Be Your Audience," she didn't just stay on stage. She walked through the entire floor, and when she reached the wheelchair section, she spent extra time making eye contact and holding the hands of every single fan there. One fan reported that IU even adjusted her position so a fan who couldn't turn around could see her face clearly. This is why she is our Queen. 😭💜
3. Special Guests: Little Ae-soon & IU Reunion
Did you see the photos of IU with child actress Kim Tae-yeon? The two met on the set of When Life Gives You Tangerines (where they both play the character Ae-soon at different ages). Tae-yeon was spotted crying because she was so happy to see her "IU unnie" perform. It was the cutest interaction of the year!
